SW: UNIAUD latest update - 20041229

29 Dec 2004 20:54:50

From: madodelDESPAM@ptdprolog.net

"The aim of the UniAud project is the creation of universal audio driver
based on ALSA project. Maintainers do NOT undertake a commitment to add
new cards that are lacking support in ALSA project, but are going to
refresh UniAud with latest ALSA sources as far as possible. Bugfixes for
hardware specific code will correspond to ALSA fixes. Also, some nuances
are possible, but in most cases we are going to proceed like this. Authors
are planning to create new and unique API to make the usage of all
resources and features of modern audio cards possible. API will use
neither DART nor other exists OS/2's audio subsystems."

"If you are aware of some new features that you would like to see
implemented, or if you just would like to accelerate development you can
always make a financial contribution or donation to UniAud on Mensys.

entered manually
+ Camera maker and model is read from EXIF data of the first picture and
shown on the camera groupbox

What is changed under the hood of this release?
* Comes with NConvert 4.42-beta for OS/2 instead of 4.19 (thanks to
Pierre E. Gougelet)
* Use DrCtl017 instead of DrCtl016 (thanks to Chris Wohlgemuth)

What was fixed in this release?
! Some progress window items were not set to 9.WarpSans font
! Corrected some french installer texts (thanks to Guillaume Gay)
! Corrected some dutch installer texts (thanks to Menno Tillema)

What was removed from this release?
- The Jingle Bells "doggy style" startup sound is gone again
- The GUI colours are not hardcoded anymore (change them via drag and
drop from the colour palette)

Support is provided on YahooGroups.

SW: postgreSQL-8.0-rc2D

27 Dec 2004 12:15:52

From: lsunleyDESPAM@mb.sympatico.ca

This update fixes the string comparison problems that were introduced in
rc2C.

PostgreSQL is a full featured database engine suitable for most database
applications. ODBC support is available through the unixODBC for OS/2
libraries also available at http://hobbes.nmsu.edu

The file is postgreSQL-8.0-rc2D.zip and can be found on
http://hobbes.nmsu,edu

The program will NOT work on an AMD K6-2 CPU. The LIBC 6 runtime does not
support fork() on that CPU.
