Sokoban for OS/2 v1.01

By Peter W. Lazenby

Sokoban (Japanese for "warehouse man") is an addicting little maze game. You are Sokoban (the little purple faced guy), and it is your job to move all the yellow boxes onto the dark blue storage squares to complete each maze level.

This version of the game is freeware, and is written by Tse Shum Fat, and is available from his webpage - http://www.xylo.freeserve.co.uk/sokoban.htm

Sokoban moves with the arrow keys. When he encounters an unobstructed box, he'll push the box into the next empty space, so beware. Several times I had to reset the maze (the R key) because I had inadvertently run into a box and moved it somewhere it was just not meant to go.

The file comes as a self-extracting executable, with directory structure preserved. Just run the .exe in the root directory where you want the game to reside. Switch to the \SokoBan directory and run setup.cmd to install the desktop objects. Then be prepared to lose a few hours of your life...

I didn't stop until level 11 out of a possible 90. You can see all 90 levels by using the | <, <, >and | Gameplay can be fast. Holding down an arrow key sends Sokoban scooting across the screen. Buffered keystrokes don't add to your final "moves" score once you've bashed into an obstruction, so go ahead and race around. Just watch it though, those boxes move at the slightest pressure!

Sokoban... play at your own risk
