The first Release Candidate (RC1) for eComStation 1.2 is currently in
closed testing. Plans call for the release of 1.2 later this month. This
would include Entry, Application Pack 1.2, Subscription Services
products, and the Open Beta of Serenity Virtual Station.
The OS/2 - eComStation host (SVISTA/2) is to be part of the Application
Pack 1.2, therefore, purchasing Application Pack 1.2 will automatically
enroll the user in the Public Beta and include the SVISTA/2 when released.
So what we ask this month is if you are going to get eComstation v1.2

I've uploaded some search plugins for Mozilla FireFox:
http://www.subsys.de/misc/FireFoxSearchPlg01.zip
To install, shutdown FireFox, copy the files to
...\FireFox\searchplugins\* and relaunch FireFox. Now you are able to
select the plugins form the search entry field right top.
There are the following plugins:
- Hobbes OS/2 Archive
- commTalk library
(this is a very large OS/2 software archiv from the german online forum
www.commTalk.de - most files contains english descriptions, but it
requires registration)
and the following plugins, which are currently only working for people
with access to google.DE:
- Google: search the web for german sites in german language
- Google: search images
- Google: search newsgroups
- Google: search news
I would like to add plugins for the last 3 options to use with
google.com, but because an access from germany to google.com will always
be redirected to google.de, I will
need YOUR help!
If anybody has time and delight, please send me the corresponding google
commands:
Go to google.com, select 'search for images', enter the string 'test'
into the search entry field and hit enter. Then copy the string form the
URL field and send it to me
(FrankWochatz@despammed.com). In google.de it looks like this:
http://images.google.de/images?q=Test&ie=UTF-8&hl=de&btnG=Google-Suche
Do the same for Newsgroups and News. TIA!
kind regards
Frank Wochatz
