PASUG Mtg: Thurs, Jul 24th The Philadelphia Alternate Systems User Group (PASUG), formerly
The Philadelphia OS/2 User Group, invites all interested computer
users to attend the July monthly meeting: July is Microsoft-free month at PASUG. What does it take to
compute without using any software from Microsoft? This month we'll take a look at what it takes to compute without
using any software from Microsoft, from the operating system to
office suite, to Web browser. A selection of alternate programs
for the most universally needed functions by computer users will
be presented. Several may also be demonstrated, if available. Other agenda items include announcements, news, Q&A session, and
50/50 raffle. Come to the meeting on Thursday evening July 24th.
See how to make your home or office free of Microsoft software,
and enjoy a special treat: Fresh hot *MICROSOFT FREE* pizza will
be delivered to our meeting at the 8:00pm break. PASUG meetings are held at the Bryn Mawr Community Center, next
to Ludington Library, at the corner of Lancaster and Bryn Mawr
