Niclas Lindstrom (nil@wineasy.se) has released a new version
of mp123,his OS/2 port of the freeware MP3 player mpg123. (Currently
the only OS/2 MP3 player which allows listening of streamed MP3s via
the web) This version, 0.59m, has the ability to use DART for its
sound playback, while previous versions were limited to MMPM2.
(MMPM2 playback when using streamed media could cause a 'rewind'
effect on slow internet connections whenever the player reached
the end of the MP3 while it was still downloading. Using DART by
specifying the --dart switch fixes this problem)

Other changes in mpg123 (and therefore also in the OS/2 port, mp123)
since the last version:

0.59m: (MH)
------
- Bug with RIFF header streams fixed.
- HTTP auth option patch from Henrik P Johnson
- NetBSD patch(s) added from and

- Added advanced shuffle support from Steven Tiger Lang
