If any WarpCast readers are interested in this possibility we recommend they carefully read their operating system license agreement and contact the manufacturer of their computer and/or operating system to verify.**) I heard an interesting tale last night at a UG meeting If you purchase a PC and it has NT or Win95 on it, and you remove it to run another OS such as OS/2. You take the licence and the software, send it off registered to MS, saying that you don't accept the license agreement and get a refund. Quoting from the MS NT v4 CD I have right here: Important: You must accept the enclosed License Agreement before you can use this product. If you do not accept the terms of the License Agreement, you should promptly contact the manufacturer of the computer for information on returning the product for a refund. I understand that MS Win95 can bring a $99 refund. ---------------------------------------------------------------------- To subscribe, unsubscribe, or for more information on WarpCast, visit: http://www.os2ezine.com/warpcast/ ----------------------------------------------------------------------
