[11/19/97] - FixPak 5

FixPak 5 is now public - you can download a copy from the Software
Updates page (http://ps.boulder.ibm.com/softupd.html). For those that
don't want to use RSU, you can FTP it from

ftp://ftp.software.ibm.com/ps/products/os2/fixes/v4warp/english-us/xr_m0
05/

One of the new things in FixPak5 is REGEDIT2. From the readme.reg
(ftp://ftp.software.ibm.com/ps/products/os2/fixes/v4warp/english-us/xr_m
005/readme.reg)

"The Warp Registry Editor (REGEDIT2.EXE) was designed to be
functionally equivalent to the Registry Editor found in Win95 and
NT4.0. In addition to supporting the Open32 Registry Keys, the Warp
Registry Editor also supports the standard OS/2 Profile keys
and files (*.INI). This was done in a manner as to appear "seamless"
to the user providing a single user interface that combines both
universes on the Warp platform"

As mentioned before this FixPak also updates the GRADD drivers,
including a new Seamless WinOS/2 driver for GRADD and NEW a Fullscreen
WinOS/2 driver for GRADD. That means there is no need to develop a
special WinOS/2 display driver.
