It's recently been updated. **) I've updated Koen Gadeyne's set6x86 Cyrix/IBM 6x86 CPU configuration utility to version 1.5. New in version 1.5 (previous OS/2 port was 1.3) is the reg_6x86.exe utility, which does a register dump to the screen of the current state of the CPU in human-readable format and will also correctly identify the 6x86 model and revision, report bogoMIPS ratings, and dump the more complex ARRs (Address Region Registers). Also new in this version are 6x86/6x86L and 6x86MX specific version of the optimization .cmd files. These files also now set the NO_LOCK register, which is a fix for the "coma" bug in the 6x86/L/MX. See the included README for more info. The file is now located in the incoming directory at Hobbes, but should be archived as: http:://hobbes.nmsu.edu/pub/os2/util/system/set6x86.zip -Greg ================================================= Greg Kondrasuk kondrag@geocities.com http://www.geocities.com/SiliconValley/Vista/6434/ ---------------------------------------------------------------------- To subscribe, unsubscribe, or for more information on WarpCast, visit: http://www.warpcast.com/ ----------------------------------------------------------------------
