Greetings! I'm David Wei (main: davidwei@cybermail.net, work:
os2@hope.com.tw), the OS/2 Technical Editor of the Taiwanese CD+magazine
combo "Internet Pioneer CD-ROM Monthly" (formerly HopeNet CD-ROM Monthly).
I'm looking for software authors that are interested in including their
software on the CD; the software can be freeware, PD (public domain),
shareware, a demo of commercial software, or whatever else that you prefer
to call it. So long as you allow me to distribute the program... :) And
the programs have to be new, preferably updated this year, or updated very
late last year, because the CD-ROM editor *AND* the readers *DEMAND* new
programs...

If you are interested, please E-Mail me at either address, I'll respond to
you within 12 hours (usually).

And a FEW tips for making your DOC a little more
"OS/2-Technical-Editor-friendly" :)

### Please STATE THE FULL NAME OF YOUR PROGRAM!
It is amazing to see how many programs that just don't have a
single name stated in the whole program and documentation...

### Please STATE THE PURPOSE OF THE PROGRAM!
It is amazing to see how many docs assume that the user can guess
what the program can do with a cryptic name and nothing else. NEVER
ASSUME... :) Please put a detailed but some what short description of what
your program does in the docs, preferably in the beginning.

### Please STATE YOUR NAME!
Some authors just don't put their name and E-Mail address in
there... I don't have a clue why...

### Please use ZIP format!
Most people have access to ZIP archive programs, so please use it
as your format. I use Object Archives for working around the files, and
most other types are quite a hassle to work with (well... sort of ... :) )

### Please use 8.3 FILE NAMES!
Some people do not have the means to use CD-ROMs with long
filenames, and I don't think my boss would like to create discs like that
just yet anyway...

### Please TELL ME MORE INFO!
Some shareware doesn't have the pricing information... please put
it in, I would prefer to help you distribute the software, but please tell
me how much is is, so users can see the price and other vital info in the
index...

Thanks for reading... and please, put the specified information in either
the beginning or the end of the readme file, so I won't miss it... :)

If you have any special requirements for the file placement or questions,
please contact me...

Thank you for reading and thank you for developing wonderful software for
the OS/2 community!!!
