Inet.Mail for OS/2 -- Your Complete Internet Email Server Solution http://www.hethmon.com/inetmail.html * sales@hethmon.com --------------------------- WarpCast ------------------------- Source: Jeff Shultz (jbshultz@ix.netcom.com) Moderator: Trevor Smith (editor@os2ezine.com) ---------------------------------------------- Christopher Pratt, LAN administrator at the National Air and Space Museum (see disclaimers below) and frequent contributor to the Phoenix OS/2 Society's newsletter, Extended Attributes (http://www.possi.org/), has graciously volunteered to show off the Warp Server network running at the National Air and Space Museum. He has supplied the following itinerary: Saturday, March 7th at 10:45am sharp. We must meet at the NASM south lobby (Independence AVE entrance) vistors desk so that we may all be checked through security. No one will be permitted to proceed alone, everyone must be escorted by Smithsonian staff. Everyone must arrive promptly and proceed with the group or be left behind, no exceptions. (although we may meet up with you at the NASM Cafe after noon.) We will be joined by a small group of Boy Scouts of America who will be earning their computer merit badges. We can convert 10 young souls to the wonders of OS/2 Warp. [disclaimer] This is NOT a Smithsonian event. This Saturday gathering is done on a volunteer basis and has no tie what so ever to the National Air and Space Museum or Smithsonian Institution. [/disclaimer] The agenda will be: 10:45 Meet at security desk in south lobby (critical) 11:00 Proceed upstairs after signing in with security 11:15 Assemble in computer server room I (NASM's LAN Administrator) will talk about how our computers and servers are used around the museum And how we use OS/2 Warp, OS/2 Warp Server, and WSOD 11:30 Q&A 11:40 Assemble in the ITD computer resource room for hands on internet, scanner solutions, VRML technology, OpenGL, software distribution, and other solutions using OS/2 Warp 4. 12:15 (or a little after) Exit through security and toward NASM Cafe. All OS/2 users (or interested persons who can fake it) are welcome! See my homepage at http://www.netcom.com/~jbshultz and click on the OS/2FEST-DC button to see what the last one was like. Anyone needing directions to the Smithsonian's National Air and Space Museum may visit my website after February 21st. I promise to have a map and directions of some sort by then. I'd recommend taking the Metro... ---------------------------------------------------------------------- To subscribe, unsubscribe, or for more information on WarpCast, visit: http://www.warpcast.com/ ----------------------------------------------------------------------
