JMA SOFTWARE TECHNOLOGIES SHIPS WEBNAV 2.0 FOR OS/2 VERSION 3 AND 4

Gothenburg, Sweden, March 23, 1998 -- Today, JMA Software
Technologies shipped a major update of WebNav. WebNav 2.0 is a
Internet web browser and HTML document viewer built to be compact and
easy to use.

Features include online and offline browsing, news and mail support,
internal/external downloads, select a new link while a document is
loading, easy to use treebased quicklist and others.

But what about WebExplorer and Netscape Navigator?

WebNav is not built to be the all in one Internet application.
WebExplorer and Navigator both try to incorporate as much as possible
but we found out -- asking our users -- that most users prefer
separate mail and news clients. Therefore WebNav is built to be a
quick an compact browser even though it supports mail and news.
WebNav allows you to use your favorite external program for things
like mail, news, frames and java.

WebNav is quite similar to WebExplorer. They both use the same API
and share many features. WebExplorer has not changed for a long time
and IBM has publicly stated that WebExplorer will not be enhanced.
Therefore many users see WebNav as the next versions of WebExplorer.

Netscape Navigator is a full-featured browser and mail/news client.
WebNav is not built to compete with that. On the other hand the
current Navigator for OS/2 is a 2,8 MB file while WebNav is around
150 kb. Many of our users use both browsers.

However the most compelling reason for WebNav is that you can
influence the features. Try calling IBM or Netscape and ask for a
specific feature, our browser (WebNav) is built on input from our
users.

To summarize, WebNav 2.0 contains among others the following
features.

o Browse the net online and view HTML documents offline.
o Internal and external (plugin) ftp/download/mirror/frames/java.
o Integrated Mail, News and HTML to text conversion.
o Select a new link while another is loading.
o Built for speed and compactness (EXE file around 150kb).
o Easy to use treebased quicklist.
o A presentation mode that allows you to browse fullscreen.
o We also offer customized versions !

WebNav DLL and Internet Adventure

WebNav is also availible as a DLL that can be called from other
programs. Internet adventure (http://www.inetadv.net/) is a popular
internet suite for OS/2 ships with a somewhat limited bowser. With
WebNavDLL you can replace the builtin browser in IA with the full
WebNav browser. This DLL is free for registered users and can be

beta.

WebNav 2.0 ships as Trial and Registered Editions. The Registered
