Sponsored by Hethmon Brothers Inet.Mail for OS/2 -- Your Complete Internet Email Server Solution http://www.hethmon.com/inetmail.html --------------------------- WarpCast ------------------------- Source: Roman Stangl (rstangl@vnet.ibm.com) Moderator: Ryan Dill (dill@os2ezine.com) --- APM/2 is now available. APM/2 is a commandline interface to OS/2's Advanced Power Management, which allows you to request APM ready, standby, suspend, power off and power on requests. Additionally, a scheduler, NLS support and a APM C/C++ toolkit is included (full source code is included too). Does it work? Well yes, but YMMV. Unfortunately APM may cause problems even if the calls to the OS/2 APM subsystem return successfully; however, these should not cause more harm than a CHKDSK during next boot. Where to download it? APM/2 is Freeware and available from my APM/2 homepage at the URL: http://www.geocities.com/SiliconValley/Pines/7885/DownloadAPM2.html Please don't upload APM/2 to other sites as, depending on how many people I see downloading, I might do updates soon. Feedback: Of course feedback is welcome, I've even prepared an online form that allows you do that in a preferred layout, at the URL: http://www.geocities.com/SiliconValley/Pines/7885/DownloadAPM2From.html APM/2 is NLS enabled, so if you want to do a national language translation to be included in the package you're welcome too.
