(FAT32 is Microsoft's new filesystem for Win95 OSR 2.x and above) This beta is available from: http://ourworld.compuserve.com/homepages/hkelder/#FAT32 Changes in version 0.64: o Corrected a problem in CHKDSK where checking very large files always gave errors o Fat32.IFS now reports fake values whenever a DOS session queries disk space and the disksize is larger than 2 Gb. The reported cluster size will be reported higher than really is the case so a maximum of 2 Gb disk or free space can be reported. The maximum cluster size reported is 32 Kb with a maximum of 65535 clusters (total and free) o Encountered and fixed a trap that occurred whenever a explicit call to FS_FLUSH was done and there were dirty sectors in the cache o Modified FS_CHGFILEPTR to behave correctly (conform OS/2 specifications) and put in logic to prohibit that files exceed 2Gb o Changed various other things. Please read FAT32.TXT enclosed in the archive. ---------------------------------------------------------------------- To subscribe, unsubscribe, or for more information on WarpCast, visit: http://www.warpcast.com/ ----------------------------------------------------------------------
