J&J Computer Consulting has released j-Chat v1.0, a 
client/server chat system written in Java.  Features of 
j-Chat v1.0 include:

- Multiple host support through multiple IPs or aliases
- Unlimited rooms per host
- Access controlled chat rooms
- Unlimited users per chat room
- Standalone or web-based client support
- Simple logging of all chats

Both the j-Chat server and client were developed and tested 
with Java 1.1.4 for OS/2 but should work with any Java 1.1 
compliant system.  

j-Chat is currently available through BMT Micro.  Further
