The new Fixpak Plus CD also includes the Warp 4 fixpaks for MPTS, TCP/IP, and the OS/2 Peer Networking. Completely updating a Warp 4 system is now a matter of popping in a CD and clicking a few buttons. "The fixpak CD has been very popular and users have asked us to make it easier to install the fixpaks. We have responded by developing the graphical installer. It automatically detects whether you are running Warp 3 or Warp 4 and presents the user with the appropriate fixpaks. It doesn't get any easier than this," said Dirk Terrell, President of Falcon Networking, the creators of the OS/2 Supersite. Thomas Bradford, President of BMT Micro said "The OS/2 fixpak disc continues to evolve and has came a long way from simply putting the disk images on a CD. With the addition of the graphical installer on the 3rd generation of the product we're able to present the updates in a more clear manner and make it easier than ever for an OS/2 system to be updated." A screenshot of the installer is available at http://www.os2ss.com/installer.gif (10 K).
