This port was done by Dr Christopher McRae of the Macquarie University in Sidney, Australia. He comments: "I did this port of the Univ of Michican LDAP client command line tools a while back. I've been using them happily to modify and search entries on our LDAP server for about 6 months now with no probs." These tools support the LDAP v3 standard. Chris is also working on a PM version that will be available soon. You can reach him at the email address. I think everyone using OS/2 on an intranet or the internet will find these tools very useful due to the increasing acceptance and use of LDAP as a directory protocol. And considering IBM's due promises of delivering LDAP support in OS/2, these are the best native LDAP tools we can get. The definitive URL to find the files should be: ftp://hobbes.nmsu.edu/pub/os2/util/network/tcpip/ldaptools.zip Regards, Fernando Cassia Buenos Aires, Argentina.
