There are an amazing number of operating system choices available
today - including Linux, Macintosh, BeOS, Palm OS and many others.
Many consumers who could benefit immensely from using these operating
systems are unaware that the choice exists. 

The Index of Alternative Operating Systems (iaOS) aims to be the
premeire Web directory for alternative operating systems. iaOS lists
links to web sites for OS vendors, applications, games and other
sites with information for dozens of alternative operating systems.

iaOS will appeal to existing users of alternative operating systems
and to consumers and businesses wishing to learn more about them.
With links organized into easy to navigate categories and a powerful
keyword search form, iaOS is the ideal source of information about
alternative operating systems.

Thousands of sites are already included in iaOS. With your help, and
the help of others dedicated to advancing the cause of alternative
operating systems, iaOS will grow to meet the needs of its users.
Because it is a new service, iaOS is far from perfect. We need to add
more listings and get feedback on current listings. We would also
like to hear any other comments that you have. Please take the time
