I just read at PCWeek.com that IBM VA Java 2.0 beta is just around
the corner.  

It will support JDK 1.1.6 and Swing 1.0.2.

It even mentions that OS/2 (along with the other supported platforms)
will have a compiler for NATIVE code?? (I might have misread that).
