This appears to have been a false alarm. There is a patch on Hobbes that upgrades Netscape Navigator v2.02 for OS/2 to 128 bit encryption and also makes it show as v4.05 with the use of a -4 parameter. This was probably the source of the mysterious line in the Polish web server log.
