The OS/2 SIG of the Philadelphia Area Computer Society 
invites all interested computer users to attend the August 
meeting:
  
            WEDNESDAY, AUGUST 26, 1998    7:00 - 10:00 PM
            Main School Building at The Episcopal Academy
                   376 N Latches Lane, Merion, PA
  
                 ***   FEATURE  PRESENTATION   *** 
          - -   NETSCAPE COMMUNICATOR/2 4.04 (Beta)   - -
 
Main feature in August will be a presentation/demo of IBM's
very recent beta release of a long-awaited Netscape
Communicator 4.04 for OS/2. Highlights and principal
features of the jPadHD Java personal database will also be
demonstrated (originally scheduled for last month along
with other new Java applications, but time ran out). SIG 
Leader Larry Lavins assisted by others will conduct the
demonstrations.
  
Everyone is urged to come see the new Netscape Communicator
as well as the jPadHD, one of many new useful 100% pure
Java multi-platform applications now available.
  
Other agenda items include a Q&A session, OS/2 news & new
product announcements, SIG business matters, software
raffle (subject to availability), etc. An OS/2 system will
also be on hand for demos of OS/2, Java, Internet, etc., as
time may permit. Our customary free light refreshments will
also be available.
  
Mark the date and time: August 26th, 7:00pm. If you want to
hear about all the new and exciting developments, or have
questions about OS/2 Warp and Java, this is the place to
see OS/2 in action and get the answers.
