StarDivision has updated their International website.

http://www.stardivision.com

The site is still incomplete, but right now you can browse
through their information concerning the imminent release of
their next version of StarOffice, version 5.0. StarOffice
5.0 looks to be a mega-blockbuster release packed to the
gills with features, including:

 - Many new desktop publishing features in StarWrite,
including the ability to link frames (for newspaper-styled
layouts)

 - More Internet features, improved web page design tools

 - An improved relational database, with SQL support

 - A brand new Personal Information Manager and Scheduler
that can link and share data with a Palm Pilot handheld PDA

 - The StarOffice desktop can now link with external
programs (you can put an OS/2 icon on their desktop and
launch an external program from within StarOffice itself)

The StarDivision site has an interesting section where they
compare StarOffice feature-for-feature with MS Office 97.
It gives you a good idea of the breadth and scope of this
product.

An early version of the product will be available soon, with
the final version of the product will be available in the
middle of September.
