Xfolder just keeps getting better, and now 0.80 is out
under the GPL with source code! Many improvements have
been made since 0.71 came out in July. However heed the
warning at the bottom of this message from the developer,
Ulrich Moeller, about a WPS backup before attempting to
install!

I am uploading both the Source and Binary archives of
XFolder 0.80 to Hobbes.

Binary Presently at: hobbes.nmsu.edu/incoming/xfld080.zip
Source Presently at: hobbes.nmsu.edu/incoming/xfld080s.zip

Proposed placement: hobbes.nmsu.edu/pub/os2/util/wps/

>From the official XFolder web site:
http://www2.rz.hu-berlin.de/~h0444vnd/xfldr.htm

"With XFolder V0.80, the licence agreement has changed.
XFolder is still freeware, but it is now placed under the
GNU General Public Licence, which means that its source
code is released and free for use under certain terms and
conditions. Note that there is still no warranty
whatsoever. Use at your own risk."

"Version 0.80 beta is now available.
Main new features since V0.71: "OS/2 Kernel" and "Workplace
Shell" objects, WPS class list, CONFIG.SYS settings,
enhanced status bars with different information depending
on the object selected, status bars for tree views also,
extended settings context menus, QuickOpen feature for
folders, replacement of WPS confirmation dialogs, folder
menu bars are now also changed, object internals settings
page, XShutdown command line interface. And again lots of
bugfixes."

"WARNING: Judging from the first feedback, you only have a
50-% change that this version will install on your system. I
strongly recommend to make a WPS backup before you install,
at least backup the INI files. Alt-F1 does not always work.
;-) I suppose this is related to old SOM runtimes, because
XFolder now uses SOM multiple inheritance for its classes.
I am further investigating this."
