Wright (wrightc@dtcweb.com) ********************************************************************** Pre Warpstock '98 Dinner Plans Warpstock '98 is almost upon us! The OS/2 event of the year will take place in Itasca, Illinois on October 17-18, 1998 at the Wyndham Hotel. Visit http://www.warpstock.org for details. Warpstock is a 100% volunteer effort put on by OS/2 users for OS/2 users. Volunteers are still needed in several areas. Sign up now to be a one of those that made Warpstock '98 an "Event to Remember". Volunteer coordinators, Tom Stevic and John Ratti will be scheduling the volunteers so that there is no conflict with their personal schedules. So if you can find a free hour or two during the two day event, head over to http://www.warpstock.org/volunteers. Just think how good you'll look strutting around in your Warpstock '98 Volunteer t-shirtA large number of people will be arriving on Friday, October 16, 1998. We are planning on going out to dinner Friday evening at Bob Chinns Crab House. An extensive menu can be found at http://bobchinns.com/menu.html. Right now I'm getting a head count and it's been suggested that we rent a shuttle. I'll see where we stand as of October 7th, and then see if we can find a shuttle that's available at this late date. Man does not live by OS/2 alone! If you would like to join us for dinner, please contact me at bri@gt-online.com. Please indicate if you are interested in the shuttle service to/from the restaurant and I will contact you with the cost per person.
