HOUSE/2 is the OS/2 program for home automation using
X10 devices. With HOUSE/2 and X10 modules you can
inexpensively automate your home, from turning on your
lights and appliances automatically, to controlling
drapes and thermostats, to monitor events from motion
sensors and input modules. X10 modules simply plug into
your existing house wiring and all transmissions
between modules and the computer occurs through the
house wiring itself - no rewiring is necessary. This
could be the easiest and most fun home improvement
project you will ever undertake.
