We have some great holiday news for you. It looks like the OS/2 User Group space problems have been resolved. All the final details for the long term have yet to be finalized, but for now, we will have a meeting next Wednesday, December 9, 1998 at 6:30 p.m. Aparently one or the combination of many communications to IBM's upper management have made them reconsider their policy towards user groups, at least as far as we are concerned. Our 11 year history I am sure played heavily in their decision. For the historians, we are in the process of learning exactly what happened. When we know, that information will be passed on to you. Now on to the meeting: *** Summary *** Topic: Dan Porter of Innoval, J-Street Mailer and Web Willy Watch & See our new laptop! Location: 590 Madison Avenue - Southwest corner of 57th Street and Madison Avenue Date: Wednesday, December 9, 1998 Time: 6:30 p.m. R.S.V.P. - A.S.A.P. to Henry Ferlauto (dccj77c@prodigy.com) - We ask this just to guage the room, which because it is a physical place, has certain limitations, that F.D.N.Y. is sure to remind us of if we exceed them. Please give us the courtesy of your response. ---------------------------------------------------------------------- To subscribe, unsubscribe, or for more information on WarpCast, visit: http://www.warpcast.com/ ----------------------------------------------------------------------
