Wright (wrightc@dtcweb.com) ********************************************************************** NICE/2 v0.04 is out! Have you ever started a long XCOPY command that ate too much CPU? Have you ever wanted to make Netscape/2 more responsive? NICE/2 is here to rescue. With NICE/2 you can dynamically change priority of many processes in OS/2. As opposed to programs such as SPE that starts a process in a given priority, NICE/2 enables you to change the priority of processes and threads AFTER they have been started. Highlights of this version: * SDK for C/REXX (as per users requests) * NICE/2 now reports back to command line * Better error handling * Complete engine redesign NICE/2 is available at the NICE/2 homepage: http://www.geocities.com/Nashville/6525/os2.html or at http://hobbes.nmsu.edu/pub/os2/util/system/nice004.zip ---------------------------------------------------------------------- To subscribe, unsubscribe, or for more information on WarpCast, visit: http://www.warpcast.com/ ----------------------------------------------------------------------
