I received the following reply from Kendall Bennett 
regarding the current status of the Display Doctor:

We have not released the beta as yet, and are working very 
hard to get this out the door. We have fallen behind our 
original  schedule, but are still fully committed to 
getting this product out and supporting OS/2.

We are considering sending out an announcement to those 
parties on our inform lists to let them know of the 
progress. At this stage we are working on enhancing the 
supported chipsets, and building the control panel utility 
software to make our product work elegantly on OS/2 (we 
hope it is elegant at least ;-).
