The first alpha release of SciTech Display Doctor for OS/2 has finally
been released. According to SciTech, the first version is still a
little "rough around the edges" as far as installation goes -- all
driver configuration is done through command line utilities.

Also, it currently only supports a limited number of video cards:

  Alliance ProMotion 6422, AT24, AT25, AT3D
  Cyrix Media GX, GXi, GXm
  Intel i740
  Matrox MGA Mystique, Mystique 220. MGA-G100, MGA-G200
  S3 Trio32/64/64V+/64UV+/64V2, Aurora64V+
  S3 ViRGE, ViRGE/DX/GX/VX, ViRGE/GX2, Trio3D, Savage3D
  Tseng ET6000, ET6100, ET6300

More hardware support is being added, but for the moment only people
who have these cards will be able to test this first release.

For developers, the MGL has been fully ported and runs under OS/2
fullscreen sessions. A beta should be available in the coming
weeks.
