Wright (wrightc@dtcweb.com) ********************************************************************** It's time for a call of votes in our icon contest. Stop by http://fm-net.com/pillarsoft/wzcontest.html and cast your vote. We have been having some website and email problems with one of our isp's lately but we have redirected the mail to another isp and it seems to be up and running for the time being. The website remains at it's original location and still seems to be hit and miss at times. (We're getting more serious about finding a new host site.) +-------------+ I'd also like to take this opportunity to remind everybody that VOICE has a Speakup scheduled for the afternoon of Saturday January 30th. This will be the first attempt at an afternoon session and the start time will allow us to have a very special guest participate. The session will center around the Rexx language (quite possibly the "family" of Rexx languages) with Chip Davis, Dirk Terrell and myself originally scheduled to be speakers. The "special" part of this session is the fact that I will *not* be participating as a speaker. The reason? Because we have someone so-o-o-o much better. :-) The "father" of Rexx will be with us. Mike Cowlishaw, who hails from England, actually "wrote" the Rexx language. This afternoon session allows him to particpate in the speakup at a decent hour in his locale. This is a chance to rub virtual elbows with someone who is *very* important in the programming world. Don't miss it!
