[WarpCast] Help required, porting SpeakFreely to OS/2 Warp - 2/27/99 |
When you gotta have it done right now. Set, see and change the priority of your OS/2 apps for better performance. Set foreground priority, run a list with a single button and more with Priority Master II Version 2.5 Free fully functional demo available. http://www.prioritymaster.com/ ****************************** WarpCast ****************************** Source: Daniele Vistalli (dvistalli@tin.it) Moderator: Dirk Terrell (admin@os2ss.com) ********************************************************************** Some time ago I begun porting SpeakFreely (a Internet Voice chat package) from Unix to OS/2. Now I've got some result, I can build almost everything, it just lacks the needed sound-card interface (I built compression, communication, and internet tools for it). Unfortunately I don't know the OS/2 mmedia subsystem and I don't have the time to learn it now. So I'm releasing my work (the partial port) in the hope someone will give it a look and complete the port. (I would be very happy :) You can find the package/build instructions on my homepage (www.quasarbbs.com/Virusface -> english -> projects section). Alternatively you can get the sources from OS/2 Netlabs (www.netlabs.org). To download from netlabs go to : ftp://ftp.netlabs.org/incoming. (Maybe a SpeekFrealy/2 page will be added to Netlabs) ---------------------------------------------------------------------- To subscribe, unsubscribe, or for more information on WarpCast, visit: http://www.warpcast.com/ ----------------------------------------------------------------------
