Hung-Chi Chu has ported the famous 
Englightenment window manager to XFree86/2.  
Enlightenment is one of those (formerly) 
Unix-only applications that the Linux 
advocates boast about it.  The authors have 
a really good eye for what makes an 
attractive desktop, however.  Check out the 
screen shots at

The OS/2 version has a few bugs, but 
otherwise it's usable.
