Stuff that matters." Although Slashdot includes lots of interesting news items for technical people, it has always had a heavy slant towards Linux (and a heavy slant away from OS/2) because all of the webmasters are Linux users. Recently, Slashdot has implemented a filter and portal system, where not only can you filter out certain articles and authors, but they also offer a "window" to several other news sites, including Warpcast and Loren's News and Rumors site (http://www.os2ss.com/news/). With the appropriate filters and OS/2 portals enabled, Slashdot becomes more much acceptable to OS/2 users. If more OS/2 users read Slashdot regularly, add comments, and submit major OS/2 news items (the announced location of Warpstock would qualify), it will become even better. ---------------------------------------------------------------------- To subscribe, unsubscribe, or for more information on WarpCast, visit: http://www.warpcast.com/ ----------------------------------------------------------------------
