Wright (wrightc@dtcweb.com) ********************************************************************** It should be noted that the search engine at http://www.ebay.com/ is somewhat broken, and will not search for "os/2" properly (it treats the "/" as a word separator). As you may have seen, it will turn up anything with "os" in the title, along with a "2" as either a separate word, or part of a decimal number (such as "Now Synchronize Newton & Mac OS -- v 2.1"). What it doesn't turn up is "OS2", which is often put in place of "OS/2". I've found that the best way to find OS/2 items is to do three separate searches: "os2", "os/2", and "warp". They are in the order of the most chance for non-OS/2 related hits, though "os/2" is still more likely to turn up the most relevent hits. ---------------------------------------------------------------------- To subscribe, unsubscribe, or for more information on WarpCast, visit: http://www.warpcast.com/ ----------------------------------------------------------------------
