To bring real choice and innovation to the PC market, we should be able to buy and sell new computer systems compatible with OS/2 and a wide range of software programs, in any combination. Help us send that direct message to the PC companies, by signing and supporting IACT's Freedom of Choice Petition! We're already getting great support from the Internet community and from users, programmers and resellers of OS/2 as well as Linux, Unix, DOS, BeOS, BSD et al, and yes, Windows, too. To add your name to all of theirs, just use either our on-line form or regular e-mail. Details are at... http://pages.cthome.net/iact/iaction-freechoice.html Plus, you've got the option of visiting our IACT Quarterly Newsletter section, where we just posted springtime Issue #5, covering subjects from Comdex to anti-monopoly strategies. Among the six articles is a persuasive commentary by Linux user and IACT member James Capone, who tells why he started the original Freedom of Choice Consumer Poll. A newsletter summary plus links are on our Index page [http://pages.cthome.net/iact/] as usual, or skip directly to the Issue #5 page [http://pages.cthome.net/iact/iq-may5.html]. While you're enjoying all the articles, be sure to send in your signature for IACT's Freedom of Choice Petition, if you haven't done so already. We still haven't heard yet from many of you, and we need your support. Send in your signature message for the Petition, before end of the deadline day of Saturday, June 5th, 1999!
