SETI@home is a scientific experiment that
will harness the power of hundreds of
thousands of Internet-connected computers in
the Search for Extraterrestrial Intelligence
(SETI). Anyone can participate by running a
program that downloads and analyzes radio
telescope data.

The OS/2 version of this program isn't
available yet, but that hasn't stopped me
from creating a team for OS/2 Warp! If
you're interested in joining this team,
point your browser to:

http://setiathome.ssl.berkeley.edu/cgi-bin/cgi?cmd=team_show&id=1331

Of course, you don't need to be running the
OS/2 client (even when it's available) to
join the team. In fact, I have an SMP NT
box at work and a Mac at home running the
SETI@Home software.

[Moderator's note: The OS/2 command line version of the
SETI@home client is in finally testing and should be
available later this week.]
