The IOMEGA driver for OS/2 which controls the parallel port
version of the Zip 100 drive no longer works with the new
version of the drive.

The reason for this is that IOMEGA ran out of the controller
chips used in the 100 and replaced them with the chip from
the 100+ drive which auto detects between SCSI and Parallel
port.

IOMEGA are resistant to requests to upgrade the driver and
so we are gathering information about customers.

We need to know of companies who use parallel port drives
and have hit this issue or intend to buy new drives and will
thus encounter the issue.

While individual members of the public are not necessarily
of use when we make our case it would be handy to know what
the installed base of units running os/2 and if anyone has
had to return their drive because of this issue.

Basically the more data we have the better case we have to
take to IOMEGA.

So if you have any information please contact me.

Thanks
