Every Monday, I'll be reporting on OS/2-related items for sale on
http://www.ebay.com and the comp.os.os2.marketplace newsgroup. Even if
you're not thinking about buying anything OS/2 related, you might find
something that catches your interested.

As always, there are copies of OS/2 2.x, Warp 3, Warp 4, and Lotus
applications available for sale. In fact, this week there are a boatload
of copies of OS/2 for sale, including a version from Microsoft (1.x) and
the original 1.0 version.

In the literature department, there are dozens of books. I'm no longer
going to list them all, since they're are just too many. Most of the
books are for older versions of OS/2, but pretty much any programming book
is still valid (one of the reasons why I love programming for OS/2).

In the software category, there are a few interesting items: Backmaster
2.0, Colorado Backup for OS/2, and McAfee Viruscan.

Someone's also selling promotion items (pens and wings) from the Leonard
Nimoy / Kate Mulgrew promotion. Now THAT brings back memories.

For programmers, we have: the Brief editor for DOS and OS/2, IBM C Set++,
and a couple OS/2 programming books.

On comp.os.os2.marketplace, there are various versions of OS/2 for sale.

For those of you who are wondering if there's any money in selling you're
old OS/2 stuff, I can tell you that most items only go for a few dollars.
However, there are exceptions. I recently sold my copy of Colorworks 2.0
and three plug-in kits for a grand total of $310.

Those of you looking to sell your OS/2 related stuff, I strongly recommend
you put it on eBay and post an announcement on comp.os.os2.marketplace. If
you include the word "OS/2" in the title of your description, I'll see it
and include it in the next report.

If you're looking for OS/2 items on eBay, you should make two searches,
one with the search term "OS/2" and another with the term "OS2".
