Coming August 1999 -- Inet.Mail Pro 1.5 Virtual domains on a single ip address, increased performance, and more from the best mail server for OS/2. http://www.hethmon.com -- sales@hethmon.com ****************************** WarpCast ****************************** Source: Tim Sipples (tsipple@us.ibm.com) Moderator: Dirk Terrell (admin@os2ss.com) ********************************************************************** July 27, 1999 The Sales and Distribution group, IBM Americas, is seeking applicants for up to three open positions in the United States Central Region, specializing in Network Computing Software (SecureWay). The Network Computing Software (SecureWay) Division is responsible for a wide variety of IBM software products, including most host integration solutions (Host On-Demand, Personal Communications, Communications Server, etc.), the Warp family of products, WorkSpace On-Demand, much of IBM's security-related portfolio of products, and more. Technical skills in any of these areas is a definite plus. Successful applicants would join IBM as Field Technical Sales Specialists. An FTSS helps relate the technical aspects of IBM products to customer sales (and vice versa). These special individuals must be effective communicators of technical information, and, most importantly, be able to apply this technical expertise to "real world" problem solving. FTSSes routinely participate in pilots, demonstrations, proof of concepts, and other pre-sales activities to facilitate customer sales and satisfaction. The U.S. Central Region includes a geographic area encompassing western Pennsylvania, Ohio, West Virginia, Kentucky, Michigan, Indiana, Illinois, Nebraska, Iowa, North Dakota, South Dakota, Minnesota, and the St. Louis metro area. Typically an FTSS would travel a moderate amount, usually within a three state portion of this region. ("Day trips" are common but not onerous.) Although IBM would prefer applicants willing to be based in Cleveland, Detroit, or Chicago, many possible "home bases" within this region are possible. This region is home to some of the most well-known and largest international companies. FTSSes will routinely work with top IBM customers in a variety of industries, from banking to auto manufacturing. An FTSS also enjoys access to IBM's vast wealth of technical knowledge and expertise, often working directly with the development lab staff. IBM offers exceptional salaries, generous benefits, and an attractive incentive plan. Talented employees are well rewarded. If you believe you'd make a great addition to the IBM team, and if you'd like to find out more about applying for one of these FTSS positions, please contact Timothy Sipples by e-mail (tsipple@us.ibm.com) or by phone (312-245-4003). ---------------------------------------------------------------------- To subscribe, unsubscribe, or for more information on WarpCast, visit: http://www.warpcast.com/ ----------------------------------------------------------------------
