Wright (wrightc@dtcweb.com) ********************************************************************** These are exciting times for Warpheads! Two really big shows are coming up to show off our pride and joy -- Warp Expo West in Los Angeles on September 18th, and Warpstock '99 in October. And we're going all out to make sure you're involved, even if you can't come to town. We'll be fine tuning our activities in public meetings on IRC on the #VOICE channel Monday, 5 PM PDT (0000UTC) and on the #SCOUG channel Wednesday, 7PM PDT (0200UTC). The VOICE meeting is a Speakup to work out some of the logistics details of our participation in these events. We'll have continuous chat, interviews, SpeakUps with Warp dignitaries, live pictures and other information directly from the convention floors! We want to do it right, and we need your help. The SCOUG meeting will fine tune the content as we approach the big date with Expo. Watch the web site at http://www.scoug.com/internet/expo/index.htm for presentation materials, as well as information about how to get connected and join us. Also, please mark your calendar for this and every Saturday 0800 PDT (1500 UTC) (except the 18th) for our Warp Systems chat, where we discuss the future of Warp, how we can make sure it evolves. And join us this and every Monday at 7 PM PDT (0200UTC) for the Amazing Warp Help Desk. We've solved so many problems we're thinking of putting up a sign like McDonalds, showing how many billions served! Bring your worst problems, and your valuable experience and join this mutually beneficial collaboration on tweaking our favorite operating system. ____________________________________________ dave@scoug.com http://www.scoug.com/chat ---------------------------------------------------------------------- To subscribe, unsubscribe, or for more information on WarpCast, visit: http://www.warpcast.com/ ----------------------------------------------------------------------
