Warpstock 99 - Atlanta, October 16-17, 1999 Two fun filled days of OS/2 and YOU! Registration discount has been extended to October 14th! Visit http://www.warpstock.org for full details ******************************************************* Source: Wong, Gary D (WONGGD@sce.com) (madodel@ptdprolog.net) Moderator: Trevor Smith (trevor@haligonian.com) ******************************************************* From what I can see, IBM this morning updated disk images "1" and "F" of FixPak 12 for Warp 4, and also replaced the zero-length disk images "G" & "H" with actual images. The FixPak can be found at: ftp://ftp.software.ibm.com/ps/products/os2/fixes/v4warp/english-us Also, regarding the earlier problems with this FixPak, Irv Spalten posted the following on comp.os.os2.bugs: Subject FP's have been released. Boulder did have a SPACE problem, and it appears that FP 12 ran into it. Boulder ran out of space, FP 12 and FP 42 has some corrupt/missing files. All should be working now. All the FP 12 RSU date stamps are from today at 6:30 AM. We (IBM) are now going to be placing a 'header' file in the FTP directory. For instance, you will see this in XR_W042 * * Initial Release of OS/2 Warp 3 FP 42 * 09/30/99 * Diskette Images XR_W042.1DK to XR_W042.JDK * In XR_M012 you will see this : * * Initial Release of OS/2 Warp 4 FP 12 * 09/30/99 * Diskette Images XR_M012.1DK to XR_M012.HDK * 09/30/99 1:30 PM CST * Diskette Image XR_M012.FDK replaced, file was corrupt * These headers will be updated as we change any file for any reason. We also know people look for new directories, and grab files. The initial headers will now say uploading in progress or not verified/incomplete, and then replaced with an official release date. Irv Moderator's Note: When FixPak 12 for Warp 4 was first released some disk images were zero bytes in length.
