Styler/2 version 1.2.0 is available for download

The archive smw120.zip (992 Kb) is available from:

   * the incoming directory
     (ftp://hobbes.nmsu.edu/pub/incoming/smw120.zip)
   * or later the new directory of hobbes
     (ftp://hobbes.nmsu.edu/pub/new/smw120.zip)
   * or from my web site at ghostbbs
     (ftp://ftp.ghostbbs.cx/pub/os2/os2team/alcant/smw120.zip)
   * or at tin.it

Note:
If you installed version 1.1 please check the exception pages of the
titlebar, titlebar hiding and window rolling features: you can find
some odd sentences in the list besides MPTS.EXE. This is due to a bug
in the installation program of version 1.1 and shouldn't cause any
real problem. In any case, please use the Remove button to get rid of
them.

                            --- What's new ---

This version (1.2.0.* - smw120.zip) corrects the following problems
and add the following new features:

   * The links for registering the program through the BMT Micro
     pages have been corrected.
   * I realized that the term Upgrade license was confusing for what
has been so far its real purpose so I renamed it Advanced
license. See the Licenses page for more details.
   * The next release will probably have all the features planned for
this version and will probably be ready in February. The price
     will be slightly increased then.
I expect to distribute a first release of version 2 in March.
   * The program now works correctly even if CADCMDR.EXE replaces
PMSHELL.EXE in the PROTSHELL command of the CONFIG.SYS file.
   * Default values used by the program on its first installation
     have been corrected.
   * Now the shade style button in the Titlebar page of the
preferences application shows the correct style.
   * Increased performances when serializing access to shared
     resources.
   * The clipboard enhancements in OS/2 and DOS command windows were
causing system traps with some particular conditions. Now they
     should work correctly.
   * Now bitmaps and text used by SMARTWIN.DLL are no longer enclosed
in the DLL itself, but are loaded dynamically and when the
roll/unroll and hide/unhide titlebar are added to the system
menu, the accelerator keys are displayed as for the default menu
     items.
   * Full window drag now works in warp 3 and has been improved for
OS/2 and DOS command windows in warp 4 as well. This is a full
implementation compared to the limited full window dragging of
NPS WPS Enhancer. It works with the keyboard as well as with the
mouse and works even when moving windows by dragging the window
frame, when dragging rolled windows and when resizing as well as
     when moving the windows around.
   * Now the feature Auto-unroll windows vertically resized works
correctly when used along with the Full window drag and size
     feature.
   * A divide by zero exception was occurring with particular styles
of titlebar shades. Now it has been fixed.
   * A Push one step behind sub-option has been added to the Push
behind all other windows feature in order to allow moving
windows behind other windows step by step.
   * A Reduce folders height option has been added to the Titlebar
     hiding page.
   * An Include titlebar sub-option has been added to the Double
click emulation option in the Mouse page.
   * Various other controls and a Windows keys page have been added
to the preferences notebook. The corresponding features do not
     work at the moment.
