GMT version 3.3.4 is available for OS/2. GMT ("Generic Mapping
Tools") is a large (~60) set of Unix-based routines designed to
display and manipulate spatial information, with numerous built-in
map projections. GMT produces high-quality Postscript output. For
details, including a nice tutorial and several examples, see:

  http://www.soest.hawaii.edu/gmt

For information on the OS/2 port, including links for downloading the
OS/2 executables, read:

  ftp://ees.lanl.gov/pub/EES3/pub/gmt/gmt4os2.html

The OS/2 executables have also been uploaded to Hobbes:

  http://hobbes.nmsu.edu/pub/incoming/gmt334.zip

They will eventually move to:

  http://hobbes.nmsu.edu/pub/os2/apps/graphics/gmt334.zip

Note that GMT is released under the GNU Public License, version 2.
