This version is a re-branding of the IBM Dialer to AT&T, and includes
some enhancements and fixes.

AT&T Dialer for OS/2 - Version 1.70.0 - Mar 31, 2000

System Requirements:
  - For OS/2 Warp 3, OS/2 FixPak 42 should be installed.
  - For OS/2 Warp 4, OS/2 FixPak 11 should be installed.

Enhancements and Modifications:
  - Re-branded the Dialer to AT&T.
  - Changed copyright and legal agreement to AT&T.
  - Added a 'setup wizard' for initial setup of required fields. The
setup is also accessible in the 'Network' menu of the the main
  Dialer window.
  - Redesigned and enhanced the 'Select a phone number to call'
  window to:
      - Display a phone number selection list based on the values
chosen in the 'Current Location' window.
      - Allows the 'Number to dial' field to be edited and the
modified number can be saved to a custom phone number file.
      - Removed the 'Add to custom phone list' button. When the
'Number to dial' is modified, and 'OK' button clicked, a
pop-up message asks if you want to save the custom number.
      - Added a 'Remove' button that is enabled when a Custom phone
number is selected. You can remove the entry from the Custom
      phone number file.
      - Added a 'Current Location' button to display the 'Current
      Location' window.
      - Added a 'Show ISDN numbers' checkbox to show only ISDN number
for the selected country or region.
      - For the 'Number of retries' spinbutton, added the selection
      choice of '0'.
      - The 'State' entry field has been renamed to 'Region'.
      - Fixed the 'Country' and 'Region' entry fields to no longer be
      editable.
      - The default Protocol was changed to PPP.
      - Improved performance in loading the country and phone lists.

  - On the 'Phone' page of the 'Settings Notebook':
      - If only one location profile is defined, grayed out the
      dropdown listbox.
      - Added a 'Remove Secondary' button to delete the selected
      backup phone number.
      - Removed the 'Do not apply Location data to access number'
      checkbox.
      - Fixed the problem where if a city contained a hyphen, the
city was displayed without the hyphen, and the hyphen appeared
on the end of the phone number.

  - On the 'Current Location' window:
      - If only one location profile is defined, grayed out the
      dropdown listbox.
      - Added a checkbox and entry field to store a calling card
number. Data in this field will be added to the phone number in
the selection list on the 'Select a phone number to call'
      window.
      - If the 'call waiting' checkbox is checked, the 'local' and
'long distance' prefix entry fields are no longer blanked out.
      - If the country selected is the United States and the area
code field is blank, a warning message box is now display to
      enter the area code.

  - Added a new command line parameter to choose the identity
profile. The new parameter,-f=######, will override the selected
identity profile in the 'Setting Notebook'.
  - For Internet users who check "Update Netscape Options" on the
'Behavior' page of the 'Settings Notebook, the Dialer will now
also update the 'Email Address' and the 'Home Page' fields. This
update feature now also supports Netscape for OS/2 Versions 4.04
  and 4.61.
  - Added function to verify the phone number to be dialed still
exists in the phone list. If it doesn't, the user cannot dial that
number until a number from the phone list is selected.
  - Fixed problem where you can't authenticate or access the Internet
  with a socksified TCP/IP stack.
  - Fixed the Modem Autodetection function to check for a long
distance prefix on the 'Current Location' window for the 1-800 test
  phone number.
  - Removed the limit of 3 failed password tries and the dialer hangs
up. The dialer will now keep retrying until the entered password is
accepted or an error message is received from the gateway.
  - On 'Identity' page of the 'Settings Notebook', if only one
profile is defined, the dropdown listbox and the 'Remove' button
  are grayed out.
  - Fixed problem where in some versions of TCP/IP, the Dialer's help
file was installed in a non-pathed MPTN\HELP subdirectory,
  rendering it unaccessible.
  - Fixed problem where the Dialer would keep retrying to dial if
'busy' instead of hanging up after the selected number of retries.
  - Fixed problem of not properly handling the modem 'NO CARRIER'
  response.
  - On 'Login' window, changed the 'Location access number' field
  from editable to read only.
  - On the 'Customer Assistance' window, fixed the country entry
field to be read only. Also added country and phone lists dates.
  - On the dropdown list for the 'Help' menu on the main Dialer
window, the 'Product Information' selection has been renamed to
'About this Dialer...'. And when you click on this selection, a
popup dialog box is now display instead of Help text. The product
information has been removed from the Help text.
  - On the 'Identity' page of the 'Settings Notebook', fixed the
problem where more than 10 profiles could be created which affected
  the tenth profile.
  - If a user changes the account ID or the UserID for an Identity
profile, the password is now deleted on the 'Login' window.
  - Removed the license agreement section from the Help text.
  - Removed displaying DosWaitChild and PoundSlipOrPPP messages in
  main Dialer window.
  - Occasionally, users would see the message 'The AgentConfigServer
returned an Error TCA2019E' displayed. A description of the error
  will now also be displayed.
  - On the 'Tracing' page of the 'Settings Notebook', the 'Enable
complete diagnostics' function required a file, dialdiag.cmd, to be
installed. This file was missing from the build and is now
  included.
  - Fixed problem where if you click on 'Services->Update/Reinstall
Software', then click on 'Download Software', then click on
'Cancel' on the 'Download latest software' window which returns you
to the 'Update/Reinstall Software' window, the 'Help' button does
  not work.
  - Updated the uninstall program, uninst.cmd, to remove additional
  files.
