Jason, who normally runs the Mamerun site, is moving in the coming
months and I'm running the site until he is finished moving to his
new house.

To start with, J. DaSilva has update the Joystick driver. You can get
it here:

I would also like to point to the new contest that has started:

The contest is to create a visual frontend for the GCC compiler in
PM. This would, of course, require somebody who knows the WPS API's.
This is something that may really open the door for budding OS/2
developers. There is one frontend on LEO called "Project Manager for
EMX", but it is in maintenance mode since March 1999. This project
starts immediately and has a tentative end date of September 30th.

Wayne Swanson from Pillarsoft is the first sponsor of the project! He
has donated a copy of WarpZip and Desktop Backup. More sponsors are
welcome!

For people wanting to do this project, you don't need to invent the
wheel again!

Well we would be crazy to reinvent the wheel! I'm not an expert at
C++, I'm just beginng to learn. Craig Benbow send me an email in
which he pointed to the company Bloodshed that makes Dev-C++ for Gnu.
This could be useful for developers, just look at it yourself. I
know it is for Windows but still its opensource and free.
