We have also included one of the other archiving formats we have been working on. WarpZip will now search for, list, view, extract and do "near seamless" installations from Zip, Arj, Rar, Lzh, Tgz, Gz and OS/2 "packed" file formats. We have zipped the new format archives all together (in their original form) into one large archive to make it easier for users to find each of them. This archive should also make it easier to install support for each of the new formats by allowing you to open it and drag the four new unarchiver binaries into the WarpZip directory. The archive (for the unarchiver binaries) is rather large right now (1 meg) but we will pare the size of it down as we find the legal means of distributing the binaries only with WarpZip. Some of them are freeware but we will err on the side of caution until we are sure of the distribution status and rules for each format. We have also updated the PillarSoft Suite with the new version of WarpZip as well as updating the drop dead dates in the four or five apps that use it. We won't go into the feature list here but invite you to take a look at our website for more information. As has been the case from it's first release... there is no charge for this update to WarpZip. We will be offering special pricing at WarpTech on all of our software as well as an online discount of the PillarSoft Suite (99 USD) for the duration of WarpTech. [Please allow extra time to get keys delivered as we will be on the road and internet access may be spotty.] The support for new formats in WarpZip has been a long time coming and we hope it makes WarpZip your "one stop shop" for dealing with all of your archives.
