Since the last official update on IPS is getting quite old I feel
that I should post this informative message to let old and new users
outside the IPS mailing list know what is going on.

The last IPS version have undergone major internal redesign to make
IPS even more powerfull and flexible. Almost all old complaints are
now resolved and there are no more sluggish performance or missing
features.

The current code includes working SMTP and POP3 as well as updated
FTP with Virtual File System support.

So far the new code is only announced on the IPS mailing list as it
is not documented and users need to be on the list to know what to do
to be able to make the new code work.

But, I still need more testers. Please join the IPS mailing list to
be updated on the current versions.

The IPS mailing list can be found at:

  http://www.egroups.com/list/ips-list

To sum this up, the current code includes most of the wanted features
requested for some time and IPS is back to the good old stability.
