What may turn out to be one of the most exciting Warpstock events
ever is happening this September 9th and 10th. This year, Warpstock
has a stellar lineup of speakers, with more being added each day. And
don't think that WS2K will be duplicating WarpTech - far from it.

- Mike Kaply and Jeff Kobal from IBM will talk about their work with
Mozilla, the open-source replacement for Netscape Communicator.

- OS/2 Netlabs will demonstrating all their great stuff out in the
Exhibitors Hall on a continuing basis. You'll be amazed at all the
amazing OS/2 software that Netlabs has produced, and all of it is
free!

- Timur Tabi will be continuing for the fourth year his programming
lectures.

- Walter Metcalf, a new speaker to Warpstock, is the About.com OS/2
guide and will be giving this year's home/SOHO networking solution
lecture. He is following in the footsteps of Warpstock President Paul
Hethmon and Warpstock Board Member David Ameiss, both of whom gave
similar presentations at previous Warpstock conferences.

- Stephen King from IBM will be there to explain how OS/2 will be
supported in the future.

- Oliver Mark from IBM Germany will show us WorkSpace On Demand,
version 3.

- Tim Sipples will show us how to take OS/2 on the road.

- David Moskowitz will be giving us some new insights in his
presentation.

Warpstock has never had such a high quality lineup for our attendees.
Check out http://www.warpstock.org for continuously updated
information.

Don't forget the special $129.00 pricing for The Holiday Inn --
Independence Mall (1-800-The-Bell) will be ending August 8th. The
normal rate for this hotel is $149.00 - $169.00. Warpstock will be a
great event to bring your family to since the Hotel is walking
distance to the majority of Philadelphia's great historic sites, such
as Independence Hall, The Liberty Bell, Betsy Ross' House, and many
of Philadelphia's museums. It is also a mere 70 minutes via the high
speed Metroliner from New York City and walking distance from the
Reading Terminal (train station). As usual Warpstock encourages you
to stay at the Holiday Inn so that you can be right there when we
start our sessions each day until the bitter end. There are a number
of eateries near to the hotel so you are not going to be tied to
dining at the Holiday Inn. Warpstock wishes to remind everyone that
Warpstock's pricing and facilities expenses are tied directly to the
number of rooms booked at the hotel, just as in years past.

Warpstock also has GOLF SHIRTS for sale. We have understood the
demand for Warpstock shirts, and for the first time you can PRE-ORDER
these shirts for pickup at Warpstock. We are offering two colors, a
limited edition Royal Blue (these can be shipped via mail for $5
extra) which is already sold out in sizes SMALL and 3X & up and a
very kewl Black (any size) which can only be picked up at Warpstock.
Go to http://www.warpstock.org/shirts.html for more information and
to place your order.

The 4th annual Warpstock conference will be held September 9-10,
2000, in Philadelphia, Pennsylvania, and is produced by Warpstock,
Inc., a North Carolina non-profit corporation. The Warpstock annual
conference is a gathering of OS/2 users and vendors from around the
world for the purpose of education and advocacy. More information is
