Warpstock 2003 Bid Announcement
Warpstock, Inc Now Accepting Bids For Warpstock 2003!
The Board of Directors of Warpstock, Inc. is pleased to announce that we
are now accepted bids from groups wishing to host Warpstock 2003.
The challenge for the Warpstock Board is to be able to announce the
location of Warpstock 2003 in the not too distant future.
Teams wishing to bid on hosting Warpstock 2003 should submit an e-mail
letter of their intent to host this event to the Board of Directors at warpstock-corp@yahoogroups.com
as soon as possible, but not later than
December 31, 2002.
Without a bid from an independent team, there will NOT be a 2003 event.
It is essential that a local team host Warpstock 2003 as it is much more
desirable to have local people on the ground instead of have the Board
members try to organize the event from remote locations.
The inital Event Team needs only 4-6 persons to start the process and can
add additional members as necessary as it gets closer to the Event date.
The Board has provided the "Bid Proposal Process" to assist all interested
parties. The Bid Proposal Process is available immediately at: http://www.warpstock.org/bid_proposal.html
The Board of Directors will remain in close contact with the Teams
throughout the entire bid process, including final site selection. The
Board of Directors contains a number of past Event Team members and will
be available to provide support for any group wishing to submit a
proposal.
Now is the time to start!
Let's make Warpstock 2003 will be the best Warpstock yet!
Warpstock, Inc., is a North Carolina corporation. The Warpstock annual
