Enhanced WHOIS client
This is a new whois (RFC 954) client rewritten from scratch. It is derived
from and compatible with the usual BSD and RIPE whois(1) programs. It is
intelligent and can automatically select the appropriate whois server for
most queries.

Updated single IBM Mouse driver
Just a warning that the installer in this package has a bug in it where it
deletes the mouse.hlp file before copying it to the x:\os2\help directory,
so the installation fails with a DosCopy error. I was able to manually
copy this file. I have not been able to replace the MULTIPT.EXE program
as the program is in use. But the new MULTIPT.EXE is the exact same file
size as the previous one, and the mouse seems to work fine with the old
version of that program.
I have only tried it with my 3button Logitech mouse so far. I had to stop
using my IBM ScrollMouse with the previous version of this driver as it
behaved very badly (I don't recall the exact symptoms). This Single Mouse
Driver is has added the following features:
Middle button scrolling or magnifying pointer.
The readme.txt includes the following points:
* This is a required update for ThinkPad T30 owners to fix problems with
TrackPoint that may stop working after suspend/resume with CP2 drivers.
* SingleMouse will not work with Warp3 or older systems. On Warp4 systems,
you must install XR_M005 (revision 9.029) or later fixpak before you can
proceed with SingleMouse installation.
Updated single IBM Mouse driver
Despite the mentioned older dates on the IBM device driver site, the
Single Mouse Driver package has been updated. Mouse.sys is now at V.10.087

JAlbum 2.7
JAlbum 2.7 has been released
JAlbum is a tool to help you getting your photos on the web
2002-11-06 2.7
News:
* More intelligent image ordering when sorting images by name: Images
containing numbers will have the numeric part compared numerically and not
alphanumerically. This allows files like \"2.Hiking.jpg\" to be sorted
before \"11.Hiking.jpg\"
* Image sort ordering may be reversed
* Linux users can specify other browsers to be launched than Netscape
by running JAlbum like this:
java -Dbrowser.cmd=\"mozilla\" -Dbrowser.arg0=\"@url\" -jar
JAlbum.jar
Bug fix:
* Didn\'t select the correct style when loading a project (Introduced
in 2.4.1)

TZCRON.CMD 1.0 automates changing DST
This REXX script, TZCRON.CMD, will add itself to the crontab to be
scheduled at the time of the switch between standard and daylight savings
time, and when called at the right minute of such a switch, will change
system time including the time zone offset accordingly.
It requires a CRON daemon with CRONTAB.EXE to submit the timed execution,
RxDate 2.1 REXX Library, TZset.exe by Peter Moynihan and of course a
complete TZ environment variable, which has to include the date and time
of the changes, not only the time zone names.
Download it from hobbes, currently

http://hobbes.nmsu.edu/pub/os2/util/system/tzcron10.zip or from
