REXX Tips & Tricks v3.20 released
From: Bernd Schemmer
I uploaded the new version 3.2 of "REXX Tips & Tricks" to hobbes. You
can find it at http://hobbes.nmsu.edu/pub/os2/dev/rexx/rxtt32.zip
"REXX Tips & Tricks v3.20" is an OS/2 INF file containing useful hints
and information about OS/2 REXX.
Included are information about literature for REXX, further Software for
REXX, hints & tips for OS/2 commands, hints & tips for REXX commands &
functions, some hints for optimizations, a lot of REXX source code
(functions & complete programs) and much more.
If you have any comments, suggestions or corrections for REXX Tips &
Tricks please contact me via email (I don't read this newsgroup very
often).
Caution: To read this file you need either OS/2 or an INF Viewer for your
operating system! A possible view program for Windows 3.1 and newer
versions is oview.exe You can find it here:
http://hobbes.nmsu.edu/pub/windows/win_inf.zip You only need the files
ipf.dll libipfx.dll oview.exe from the file ov_demo.zip inside of
win_inf.zip. It should be possible to decompress them without installing
the demo - but I don't know how (I'm not so familar with Windows).

Mozilla 0.9.3 Released
From: Michael Kaply
The URL is: ftp://ftp.mozilla.org/pub/mozilla/releases/mozilla0.9.3/mozilla-i386-pcos2-vacpp-0.9.3.zip
This build is fully optimized.
The major change on the OS/2 side is some new font code from Javier
Pedemonte that should make display a lot more consistent.
We also have the beginnings of support for UTF-8. Make sure you set your
Unicode font to Times New Roman MT 30 in preferences if you want to use
it.
We've added the ability to change font DPI in preferences. You can
experiment with this to see what it does. Note it changes the UI font as
well.
The crash when the browser checks your mail after 5 minutes is fixed -
it was an optimizer bug, so we just didn't optimize the file in
question.
Some PNGs are not working, so be aware of that.
As far as other news goes, the reason there have been no
semi-nightly/weekly builds is because we have been waiting for an
optimization fix from the VACPP folks. Without this fix, optimized
builds crash on startup. We got that fix, and hope to resume builds
soon.
We are still working on the random tinderbox problems. If you want to
see the OS/2 tinderbox, it is on MozillaTest for now.
The next build we will deliver will probably be a 0.9.2.1 build so you
can compare it to Netscape 6.1 when it is released.
Thanks for your support.
